More than 60% (61%) of adults worldwide have some kind of medical problem that affects their sleep, with around a quarter reporting insomnia (26%) and a fifth snoring (21%). More than half of those surveyed had worries (58%) and external disturbances (26%) that had affected their sleep at night in the past three months. Consequences of poor sleep included: fatigue (4%), emotional instability or irritability (41%), negativity (39%) or difficulty concentrating (39%).

The light intensity is positively correlated with the change in position of the lamp body, which drops from the highest (brightest) point to the lowest (off) point for a total of six + minutes, allowing the user to adjust the height (brightness) of the lamp body according to their needs.
